Does bed bugs transmit diseases?

Actualy, no research or documented case report bedbugs for the transmission of diseases. However, recent research conducted by Canadians researchers has revealed and confirmed that bed bugs could be carriers of dangerous pathogens including resistant bacteria to antibiotics.  

However, medical consensus is that bed bugs is not a significant risk to humans. Some sources report cases of anemia due to a massive attack of bed bugs on children or frail people. Secondary infections are also observed when the person scratches the wounds sometimes formed after the bite
